Reiki for Animals
Animal companions are beings  that have to address many of the same
issues their owners do.  Many times they mirror what their humans are
feeling and experiencing.
Animals are eager and willing to receive the healing energy of Reiki. Reiki on
animals can be done in person, but most Reiki is done long distance
being that keeping an animal calm, quiet, and motionless is quite impossible.  
Since Reiki is not limited to any geographical boundaries, anyone located
anywhere can receive Reiki treatments. A full hour of Reiki is recommended in
order to receive optimum benefits.
Animals that are elderly, fragile, those that may be fearful of strangers, aggressive,
or are near to their time to cross over can benefit from long distance Reiki
treatments.
Benefits of Reiki for Animals:
The benefits are immeasurable, but a few noted ones are:
*  can assist in behavioral and emotional issues
*  can promote healing of physical illnesses, injuries, and can be most helpful
pre- and post-surgery
*  can provide emotional well-being and security for rescue animals in their new
homes, shelters, and foster homes
*  can give peace, comfort, and relief from fear, pain, and anxiety when close to
their time of transition.
A consultation form, and a signed consent and waiver form are needed prior to any session. For long
distance sessions a picture of the animal companion is also needed.
